Information Services Department

The use of leading-edge IT technology has become one of the hallmark features of Northport. Consistent with the growing importance of ICT in the global port operating environment, Information Services Department (ISD) offers viable solutions to Northport and its customers to ensure smooth transaction of its daily operations.

  • Northport Online
    Northport Online is an interactive port network that allows Northport to simplify its logistics planning.  This feature provides users with information on a real-time basis - 24 hours a day.
    Through Northport Online, customers can:
    -  Perform queries on vessel sailings, container status and custom clearance status
    -   Enquire information on shipping lines, freight forwarders or their agents.
    -   Check on port tariffs
    To access Northport Online, simply login at www.northport.com.my
  • Client Access System
    Our Client Access System offers online services such as container inquiry, depot information inquiry, tracking history, vessel information, import status list, export booking, etc. With similar functions as Northport Online, Client Access System provides more functions for users. For access to this system, users need to sign up by filling up the Ledger Account form and signing a contract with Northport. 
  • Tele-Client System (Voice/Fax)
    Fully integrated with the Client Access system, Tele-Client allows customers to track shipments through a single phone call from any point around the world. Information is provided on real-time basis and can be obtained through voice response or through fax. Like Northport's other client-focused services, this facility is available around the clock, 7 days a week. This service is provided to our users free of charge.

  • SMS Service
    Besides the voice system, customers are also able to gather on demand inquiry on voyage and container shipments through Northport’s SMS service.  Registration can be done through this website. For more information, contact ISD at 03-31698888.
  • E-Billing
    E-Billing provides a fast invoice service with no hassle at your convenience.  This service allows users to search for a bill, view payment history and even download bills for further reference. Users can log into E-Billing on this website.  
  • Technical Support
    As a value added service, technical assistance after office hours is offered. Kindly contact 019-3836766, our technician on duty is available until 11.00 pm everyday.
