Our Human Resources Division recruits and refers job applicants, administers personnel regulations, handles employee payroll and worker's compensation, coordinates the employee benefits package, and directs career development programs.

The Human Resources Division at Northport comprises of:

  • HR Compensation & Benefits
    This section of HR is involved in the general HR duties which cover managing/monitoring employees' performance, developing /reviewing employees' benefits and compensation packages and taking care of employee's general welfare.
  • HR Manpower
    This sector is responsible for the company's recruitment processes. HR Manpower is accountable for sourcing new recruits with commendable qualities who are able to contribute greatly in this competitive environment.
  • HR Services
    HR Services is responsible in analyzing and monitoring the workforce in every department and to implement the Human Resources services to the benefits of all employees. HR Services is also in charge of the company's medical, SOCSO as well as holiday incentives.
  • Employees Communication & Special Project
    This sector ensures that the relationship between management and employees remain effective by providing a communication platform for both parties. This sector is also responsible in developing an encouraging work culture and environment.
  • Industrial Relations
    This sector is divided into two sections; Industrial Relations and Employees Engagement. Industrial Relations recognizes employees' welfare by providing a proper channel for employees to communicate. Employees Engagement develops a good relationship and culture amongst employees by encouraging participation in company's activities.
  • HR Development
    HR Development plans and implements pro-active and skill-oriented training programs and modules to ensure workers are sufficiently skilled and knowledgeable to respond to the highly competitive operating environment.
