Finance Division
The Finance Division is charged with a variety of tasks including coordination of the annual budget, audit process and administration. In addition, finance provides the functions of payroll, accounts receivable and payable and cash receipts. The Finance Division prepares a wide range of internal and external financial reports for use by other organizations. In terms of customers, the Finance Division reviews and supplies customers with documentation that allows them to proceed with the obtaining of the gate pass.
- Corporate Finance
To prepare timely and accurate financial information for analysis and decision-making. Services include monthly and annual accounting, payroll, and analysis work, preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, preparation of the annual tax levy, and the coordination and development of the annual budget
- Billing/Documentation Center
This department deals with all the paperwork related to Northport. It determines all charges that need to go to the customer and provides customers with necessary documentation upon when payments are made, gate passes are provided. If there are any discrepancies, this department handles the disputes.
- Credit Control
This department deals with the opening of ledger accounts so credit is facilitated. In addition to that, Credit Control also liaises with other departments of Finance in case of a delay in payment.
- Payroll
The Payroll Department is dedicated to providing accurate and timely paychecks and other comprehensive payroll-related services to all Northport employees. Payroll is a service-oriented department whose goal is to assist employees and administrative departments to process payroll information, answer inquiries, and resolve problems.
