The Commercial Division, also known as the Marketing Division acts as a guide and lead the company's other departments in developing, producing, fulfilling, and servicing products or services for their customers. At Northport, we believe that marketing is about acquiring and retaining customers for products and services by delivering customer value. We strive towards excellence and constantly track consumers, monitor the environment, and keep an eye on the competition.

• Business Strategy Development
  Regular review is conducted by the team to ensure our business strategy remains achievable within the industry. This includes review of budget, costing and action plans. In a competitive business like ours, the business development function has to perform at the highest level in order to remain productive in the industry.
• Customer Services
  Northport places importance to all of its customers. Hence, we provide optimal customer service to every port user. At Northport, we have a Customer Service Center that allows free access to real-time interactive information covering all areas of cargo and container shipment tracking. The center operates from 8am until 12am. We also provide other customer services such as Northport Online, Client Access System, Tele-Client System and SMS service.
• Customer Relationship Management
  The commercial department conducts customer profiling by studying the market and customers, and determining the best way to reach those customers. It also organizes events and entertainment to forge greater ties with every business entity.
• Marketing Information Systems
  Marketing decision makers are responsible to gather, sort, analyze, evaluate, and distribute pertinent, timely and accurate information to improve their marketing planning, implementation, and control. The marketing team at Northport also handles external market monitoring, competitors profile monitoring as well as data management to ensure that the company is abreast with market happenings.
