| a) The transshipment rate applies only to containers which have been pre-advised as transshipment prior to import vessel's arrival and are which are subsequently loaded onto the 2nd vessel within 28 days;
Transshipment containers are granted 28 days free storage from date container is stacked in yard.
Transshipment containers not transshipped within the 28 days shall lose the right to the preferential rates. The container handling charges and storage charges, based on the free storage period granted for import FCL or MT, will the be applicable.

In the event, consignees/forwarding agents are unable to effect direct delivery, additional charges such as trailer detention (hire of trailer charge), crane lifting, storage etc. shall also be imposed.

CONTAINER STORAGE
Import FCL and MT containers from Foreign Ports shall be given 5 days free storage, whilst import FCL and MT containers from Malaysian Ports shall be given 7 days free storage in the container yard, calculated from the date the containers are stacked in yard to the date the containers are removed from the terminal. A 7 days free storage period shall be given for all export containers, calculated from the date of advise for export to the date the containers are loaded on vessel for export.
Import and export landbridge containers shall be given 3 days free storage. For import containers, the storage period shall be calculated from the date the containers are stacked in yard to the date the containers are removed from the terminal.
For export containers, the storage period shall be calculated from the date of advise for export to the date the containers are loaded on vessel for export.
Containers both FCL and MT that have been loaded on haulier's trailers for delivery and are not removed within the free storage period from the terminal(s), shall incur storage charges based on the respective rates.
